Sweet Tomatoes Souplantation Restaurant 2 Pass Giveaway

Restaurant Roundup Post #2

Hi Neighbors! Remember back in November when I worked with Sweet Tomatoes/Souplantation? Well, as part of my Restaurant Roundup Sweet Tomatoes is going to giveaway 2 Dining Passes! I am going to use the name Sweet Tomatoes throughout the rest of the post, but remember both restaurants are together. I have eaten at Sweet Tomatoes before with my family and we all think it is great!

When you first enter the restaurant you pick up a tray and your plate and then you can help yourself to the most amazing salad bar ever. Do remember that Sweet Tomatoes does not offer much in the line of meat. They have fresh salads, hot pastas, handcrafted soups, made from scratch muffins, Focaccia breads, etc. So, you create your salad, and then at the register you order your beverage if you would like one other than water. They have great juices, teas and coffee. You choose a table and then help yourself to the hot bar. And, you can go back and get as much as you like! My family really likes eating here!

Parents Magazine award!

Souplantation/Sweet Tomatoes allows kids and adults an opportunity to build their own healthy and delicious meal form a 55-foot salad bar featuring numerous vegetable options, tossed salads and deli salads and eight made-from-scratch soups, muffins, focaccia, pasta and a fruit bar. It also offers value for parents wanting to ensure their children eat well. For under $5, a child can get the full salad bar and buffet meal, which includes choices from pre-made and create-your-own salads, soups, muffins, focaccia, fruit, pasta and soft serve ice cream.

The latest reason that parents can feel good about taking kids to Souplantation/Sweet Tomatoes? Parents Magazine recently acknowledged Souplantation/Sweet Tomatoes restaurants as one of 10 Best Restaurant Chains for families in the April issue of the magazine! Over 150 chain restaurants were considered, and Souplantation/Sweet Tomatoes restaurants were chosen for the honor thanks to its variety of healthy options and convenience, all while being fun for the whole family.

Eating at Souplantation/Sweet Tomatoes restaurants can also be educational for kids. The salad bar features fun facts about the food as well as nutritional and health benefits information. Kids can also go online with the help of their parents to check out the “Sprouts Only” section on the restaurants website. There they will find fun games, coloring sheets and puzzles, all of which encourage healthy eating habits. And, as a bonus to parents, coupons for kid’s meals are often available within the “Sprouts Only” page.

Now not only is Sweet Tomatoes giving away 2 dining passes, but they have some coupons I may share with my neighbors. Please notice they are only good until the end of the month. One is for a free childs meal with the purchase of an adult meal, and the second is for a family to dine for $19.99. A family being 2 adults and 2 children under 12. That is a great deal! Interested? Email me and I will send you the information. You will need to print them off. blessed6mom@yahoo.com

Here are some of their March specials at Souplantaion and Sweet Tomatoes:

March Menu Specials

Classic Menu Favorites: For the month of March Souplantation/Sweet Tomatoes restaurants will feature classic childhood favorites like Grilled Cheese Focaccia made with a delicious blend of natural cheeses and made-from-scratch Classic Creamy Tomato Soup.

Breakfast for All Ages: Some mornings there’s nothing better than having someone else cook you a warm, healthy breakfast. Souplantation/Sweet Tomatoes are relaunching Sunday breakfasts across their restaurants on March 6 with some new menu items including baked cinnamon apples; chilaquiles, which are a traditional Mexican egg casserole; roasted potatoes; and baked doughnut muffins. Breakfast prices remain under $10 for adults and under $6 for kids.

Take-Home Cookie Dough: For a limited time Souplantation/Sweet Tomatoes restaurants will also help families bring home the fun with chocolate chip and peanut butter chocolate chip cookie dough buckets available for $5.99 each. Each bucket makes about 48 cookies and the dough can be frozen, giving parents an easy way to bake sweet treats in moderation. Cookie dough buckets will be sold at Souplantation/Sweet Tomatoes restaurants throughout the month of March as supplies last.

Baby First TV 'I Can Sign" First Words

Hey Neighbors! Here is a really neat gift idea for someone with a young child.  Here we have I Can Sign (First Words) from Baby First  TV.  Now, I am just going to share right here that we have friends who have taught two of their children to sign at a very young age.  And it works!  Their children could sign before they could talk. The Dvd will teach your child many useful words that will be used in day to day life.  Words like: eat, water, milk, cookie, ear, feet hands, kiss, sleep, book, mother, father, and many other words.  Each word is taught in a short video clip where they will see pictures of the word/item and people signing.  There is also a little character at the bottom corner of the video signing along.  The Dvd can be done on English or Spanish.  Also included on the Dvd are printable coloring pages that you can print off by inserting the Dvd into your computer.  Inside the cover of the Dvd case is a little booklet that covers some of the words you and your child

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back.  Hey neighbors, its with a heavy heart I let you all know that my mom (Lori) unexpectedly passed away the end of June. Our family has been taking the time between now and then to be together and remember what a light mom was. I came on towards the end of last year and was planning on fully moving my interviews and review to this website. I intend to to so partially to keep mommas beautiful website going. Thank you all so much for your love and support over the years. ~Mercy
