Premier Pets Sneak Peek Giveaway

Doggy Days Post #11

Hi All! Beautiful day out here At the Fence! Premier Pets is allowing me to give you a sneak peek at one of their newest products. This product will not be available until April, but Premier is going to give 2 winners each one of these new items in the appropriate size (small $6.99, medium $9.99 or large $14.99) along with a bag of Buddy Berry Treats. Isn't that exciting! Are you wondering what the new toy might be? Keep reading to find out.

Roly Rope! Another great toy from Premier Pet!

Premier's new dog toy is called Roly Rope! It is one of their Busy Buddy line. The Roly Rope looks like a toy that both our dogs would like. It is a rope with knots in each end and a treat ball in the center. So not only does your pet get a rope to tug on, but as he plays with the rope and ball, treats will be dispensed. This is the type of toy that can keep your dog entertained. The rope is a neon green and purple, with the ball also being purple. Just insert your Buddy Berries, which Roxie loves, and then let your dog have fun! I have to put our Buddy Berries out of sight or Roxie sits and barks until we add more to her toys. When she hears the package she comes running!

Premier Pet has some really great toys for your pet! I have enjoyed working with them before and Roxie and Shadow love their toys. I have never been disappointed in a dog toy we have received from them. And as I said earlier they love the Buddy Berry Treats.

How Premier began:
"1988

It all started in Richmond, Virginia, when Sharon rescued Shadow, a retired Greyhound. While home with two young children, Sharon wished more families knew what wonderful pets former track dogs could make. She became actively involved in Greyhound rescue and soon founded the Richmond chapter of Greyhound Pets of America.

While rescuing Greyhounds, Sharon recognized the need for Martingale style collars that fit the unique shape of the Greyhounds’ head, yet prevented the dog from backing out of the collar. Dog trainers and pet stores began contacting her to find out where they could obtain the specialized product. Because she believed in the product so much, she soon became a sales rep for a little cottage-industry company that produced the collar. With the permission of the company pioneering the innovative collar, she saw the opportunity to take the collar to a broader audience. That’s where the idea for Premier Pet Products began."

1989

Sharon Madere founded the two-person company weeks after her third child was born. With a $5,000 loan, she purchased two re-furbished sewing machines, a few boxes of raw materials and began making collars and leashes in a spare bedroom of her home. Their first product was the Premier collar, a modified Martingale-style collar. Soon Sharon’s sister was enlisted to help cut the nylon, sew collars and ship packages"

Roxie and Shadow think they would give Roly Rope a Paw Up!

Baby First TV 'I Can Sign" First Words

Hey Neighbors! Here is a really neat gift idea for someone with a young child.  Here we have I Can Sign (First Words) from Baby First  TV.  Now, I am just going to share right here that we have friends who have taught two of their children to sign at a very young age.  And it works!  Their children could sign before they could talk. The Dvd will teach your child many useful words that will be used in day to day life.  Words like: eat, water, milk, cookie, ear, feet hands, kiss, sleep, book, mother, father, and many other words.  Each word is taught in a short video clip where they will see pictures of the word/item and people signing.  There is also a little character at the bottom corner of the video signing along.  The Dvd can be done on English or Spanish.  Also included on the Dvd are printable coloring pages that you can print off by inserting the Dvd into your computer.  Inside the cover of the Dvd case is a little booklet that covers some of the words you and your child

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back.  Hey neighbors, its with a heavy heart I let you all know that my mom (Lori) unexpectedly passed away the end of June. Our family has been taking the time between now and then to be together and remember what a light mom was. I came on towards the end of last year and was planning on fully moving my interviews and review to this website. I intend to to so partially to keep mommas beautiful website going. Thank you all so much for your love and support over the years. ~Mercy
