1 DAY ACUVUE MOIST Contacts Giveaway!

Hi Neighbors!

Here is the first Road Trip post. Before traveling make sure you have everything packed that you need. From clothing, to toothbrushes, to medicine and don't forget your contact lenses. Imagine you head out, travel all day, and then...you forgot to pack your disposable lenses.

ACUVUE is working with At the Fence for our road trip! First let me tell you, although three people in my family wear glasses, none have tried contacts yet. My husband grew up wearing glasses and I am not sure he will ever change, my youngest only uses glasses for reading, but my oldest daughter has considered trying them. 1 DAY ACUVUE MOIST would be a great choice for her! She has problems with allergies, mainly during the summer, and I think these lenses would help.

ACUVUE is going to send the winner of this giveaway a months supply of their 1-Day ACUVUE MOIST. Exam and fitting fee are not included. Winner must present a current, valid prescription for ACUVUE brand contact lenses. This lens is usually prescribed for teens and children. The benefits of ACUVUE include no solutions, no lens case, and of course no hassle. "1∙DAY ACUVUE® MOIST® Brand lenses gives you exceptional comfort from the moment you put them in, to the moment you toss them at the end of the day. That's because they're the only daily disposable lenses with our exclusive LACREON™technology. " Another
benefit is that for allergy sufferers, research has shown that a fresh pair of lenses every day (made from etafilcon A) may provide comfort for people suffering mild discomfort from itching associated with allergies while wearing contacts, compared to lenses replaced at intervals of greater than two weeks. To me this only seems reasonable as your contacts probably pick up allergens and replacing them daily would help remove some of them.

Now wouldn't 1 Day ACUVUE MOIST make your trip much easier? No hassle, no solutions, no case to worry about. I know how forgetful my children can be. I can just hear midway through the trip; "Mom, I can't find my contact case!" or perhaps "Has anyone seen the solution for my contacts?". 1 Day ACUVUE MOIST will make your road trip more enjoyable and easier for everyone. You can relax and enjoy the trip! Not to mention no worry about broken or lost glasses. My 10 year old has lost hers more than once!

Remember the winner will receive a one month supply of 1 Day ACUVUE MOIST, but exam and fitting fees are NOT included, and you MUST present a current and valid prescription for ACUVUE brand contacts.

My daughter used to like the colored contacts so people always wondered why her eye color changed so drastically! She insisted on having different colors!

I've worn contacts since I was 12. When I was about 14 I had very expensive gas permeables which my single mum had busted her butt to pay for. I went to a rock concert with a friend and with all the bodies close together and jumping around, my contact got popped out of my eye and lost. Hours after the concert finished my friend, myself and my friends parents were searching every corner of the hall trying to find it. The cleaning people were sweeping and we were looking all through the piles of dirt. I was so upset. We never did find it, but my friend's parents took me home and told my mum for me, because I was too scared to tell her myself.

Baby First TV 'I Can Sign" First Words

Hey Neighbors! Here is a really neat gift idea for someone with a young child.  Here we have I Can Sign (First Words) from Baby First  TV.  Now, I am just going to share right here that we have friends who have taught two of their children to sign at a very young age.  And it works!  Their children could sign before they could talk. The Dvd will teach your child many useful words that will be used in day to day life.  Words like: eat, water, milk, cookie, ear, feet hands, kiss, sleep, book, mother, father, and many other words.  Each word is taught in a short video clip where they will see pictures of the word/item and people signing.  There is also a little character at the bottom corner of the video signing along.  The Dvd can be done on English or Spanish.  Also included on the Dvd are printable coloring pages that you can print off by inserting the Dvd into your computer.  Inside the cover of the Dvd case is a little booklet that covers some of the words you and your child

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back.  Hey neighbors, its with a heavy heart I let you all know that my mom (Lori) unexpectedly passed away the end of June. Our family has been taking the time between now and then to be together and remember what a light mom was. I came on towards the end of last year and was planning on fully moving my interviews and review to this website. I intend to to so partially to keep mommas beautiful website going. Thank you all so much for your love and support over the years. ~Mercy
