Pre-fense Hand Sanitizer Review and Giveaway

Hello Neighbors!

I am really enjoying my visits At the Fence here in Florida. Nice short sleeve weather lately. I have a product to share with you, that I really appreciate. Since we travel quite a bit and are often meeting people and shaking hands, I am glad to introduce you to a product that safely kills bacteria, viruses and fungi for 24 hours. (Or 10 hand washings) Pre-fense is made of all natural ingredients and has no alcohol in it. It is non toxic and completely safe if swallowed.

Pre-fense:

"Prefense is silica based which means it doesn’t dry out your hands like traditional alcohol sanitizers. It actually smoothes and softens your hands. You can totally see this when you apply it!

· Prefense protects against staph, strep, E.coli, drug resistant MRSA strains, and more. We fight germs that other hand sanitizers can’t.

· Because “one spray lasts all day” our 1.5 oz Prefense Botanicals Hand Sanitizer offers 120 applications, costing only $.08 per day, compared to $1.20 per day with alcohol hand sanitizers. "

Pre-fense is great to carry in your purse and apply it first thing as you head out or maybe just before you begin shopping. Just apply to your hands and rub together and allow Pre-fense to dry. You do not have to apply again unless you wash your hands 10 times. Otherwise you are good for 24 hours. You should only have to apply 1-2 times a day.

Make sure your children apply Pre-fense before they go out to play, visit with friends, or go shopping etc. Pre-fense will protect them from germs on door-knobs, toys, books, etc. Think about all the germs living on a computer keyboard.

You can purchase Pre-fense online (2-1.5 oz. bottles for $9 or the 8 oz. bottle for $19.99 or you can use the store locator to find a retailer near you that carries Pre-fense. You can find Pre-fense on Twitter and Facebook.

One winner will receive an 8 oz bottle of Pre-fense.

Mandatory Entry:In a comment tell me if you are a soap and water type person or if you prefer hand sanitizers. You do not have to be a blogger, but you must leave a valid email where you can be reached should you win. This giveaway will end 2/22 at 11:59 pm CST. I've never been a fan of hand sanitizer. But my son got an MRSA infection in his knee last year and was in hospital and had to have 2 surgeries. He was 17 months old. Since then, I've been a bit more militant with killing germs etc.

I use a combination of both. If my hands are obviously dirty I wash them, but otherwise use sanitizer to keep them germ free.

Baby First TV 'I Can Sign" First Words

Hey Neighbors! Here is a really neat gift idea for someone with a young child.  Here we have I Can Sign (First Words) from Baby First  TV.  Now, I am just going to share right here that we have friends who have taught two of their children to sign at a very young age.  And it works!  Their children could sign before they could talk. The Dvd will teach your child many useful words that will be used in day to day life.  Words like: eat, water, milk, cookie, ear, feet hands, kiss, sleep, book, mother, father, and many other words.  Each word is taught in a short video clip where they will see pictures of the word/item and people signing.  There is also a little character at the bottom corner of the video signing along.  The Dvd can be done on English or Spanish.  Also included on the Dvd are printable coloring pages that you can print off by inserting the Dvd into your computer.  Inside the cover of the Dvd case is a little booklet that covers some of the words you and your child

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back.  Hey neighbors, its with a heavy heart I let you all know that my mom (Lori) unexpectedly passed away the end of June. Our family has been taking the time between now and then to be together and remember what a light mom was. I came on towards the end of last year and was planning on fully moving my interviews and review to this website. I intend to to so partially to keep mommas beautiful website going. Thank you all so much for your love and support over the years. ~Mercy
