Tommy Moloney's Irish Breakfast Basket Review

 Neighbors,

Here is a Gift Basket that is unique. It is from Tommy Moloney's and it is an Irish Breakfast Basket. They actually have two sizes, and I will include the descriptions below. This is a great gift idea. My family has big breakfasts twice a week, so this was a great addition to our breakfast. The children loved the small sausages. The scones are sweeter than a biscuit. We toasted ours and put the Irish butter on them. It was sort of like having a cinnamon raisin bagel with butter on it, but the texture was more like a biscuit. Tommy Moloney's imports theri spices from Ireland so that you get the real Irish taste.

The two different baskets that Tommy Moloney's offers are a Premium that is normally $95 but is on special right now for $76 and the Deluxe normally $140 now $112. The Premium Basket serves 6-8 and the Deluxe serves 12-14. You will not be disappointed if you order one of these baskets. Below I have included pictures of the two different baskets and a listing of what is included.

Deluxe Irish Breakfast Basket: (Serves 10 – 14 people)
Deluxe Irish Breakfast Basket

2 x Irish White Pudding
3 x Imported Irish Bacon
1 pack of Shane’s Scones

1 x Barry’s Irish Tea
1 Jar of Irish Jam
2 x Kerrygold Irish Cheese

Premium Irish Breakfast Basket: (Serves 6 – 8 people)

Tommy Moloney's has provided a code for my readers to use that will give you a 25% discount if you use this code. Just enter the code ATTHEFENCE.

We have since tried the Irish Bacon and the Black Pudding and White Pudding. The bacon is exceptional. Not a lot of fat, thicker than most bacon, nice texture. The Black Pudding seems to have a flavor of cloves. The White Pudding is more spicy. This would definitely be something we would try again.

I had to include their History:

"First produced 1920 in county Limerick, Ireland, Tommy Moloney’s is famous near and far for its Sausages and Traditional Irish Meats. Our recipes have been passed on for four generations and have served the test of time. Favorite meats include Pork Sausages, Bacon, Black & White Puddings, Hams, Corned Beef and Ribs.
Over the years many of Ireland’s popular hotels, restaurants and other catering establishments have been satisfying the appetites of valued customers with the service and distinctive flavor of Moloney’s traditional meats.
From Ireland to New York
Our proud tradition of providing quality service in the supply of traditional Irish meats is now brought to you in the United States by our fourth generation Moloney’s butchers.
We are all about quality and tradition. All of our meat products are carefully handcrafted with special detail to authenticity. We are the only company in the US that imports traditional Irish spices and uses traditional Irish recipes which replicate the classic taste of true Irish meats, freshly made in the United States. When you eat our products, you taste the same wonderful flavor you experienced in Ireland. All of our USDA certified products are made to our exacting standards of quality and tradition which have made our consumer base loyal, consistent, and growing.
We still use the traditional recipes and seasonings from Tommy Moloney himself, but using our new USDA certified production plant, we have incorporated the latest cutting edge technology to the production, presentation and marketing of our meats. Technology may have changed but the ingredients, and more importantly the taste, have stood the test of time. We import all our ingredients directly from Ireland which enables us to replicate a true Irish flavored meat, freshly-made in the United States.
The ethnic branding of our products as “authentic Irish” communicates the image and authenticity of our company, our consumers identify with the tradition and flavors of Ireland unlike some of the other name brands who sell “Irish Style”, we produce the “real thing”.
Today Tommy Moloney’s premium Irish products remain the standard for the Irish community in the United States."

Baby First TV 'I Can Sign" First Words

Hey Neighbors! Here is a really neat gift idea for someone with a young child.  Here we have I Can Sign (First Words) from Baby First  TV.  Now, I am just going to share right here that we have friends who have taught two of their children to sign at a very young age.  And it works!  Their children could sign before they could talk. The Dvd will teach your child many useful words that will be used in day to day life.  Words like: eat, water, milk, cookie, ear, feet hands, kiss, sleep, book, mother, father, and many other words.  Each word is taught in a short video clip where they will see pictures of the word/item and people signing.  There is also a little character at the bottom corner of the video signing along.  The Dvd can be done on English or Spanish.  Also included on the Dvd are printable coloring pages that you can print off by inserting the Dvd into your computer.  Inside the cover of the Dvd case is a little booklet that covers some of the words you and your child

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back.
