Fiesta Products Head Chefs Review and Giveaway!

Hey Neighbors,

Busy day today at CHITAG (Chicago Toy and Game Fair). If you weren't able to attend you really missed out on an exciting event. My family had a great time. I will tell you more about CHITAG Monday.

Today I have some of the greatest cooking utensils for children. They are by a company called Fiesta Products. The Head Chefs Utensils are well made and are designed to encourage children to help in the kitchen. They are so cute with arms and legs, my daughters wanted to use them right away. They have little suction cup feet, so they will stand freely on it's own. And yes they do have a belly button and, you guessed it a rear end. Both my daughters found that humorous! Anyway they arrived just in time for girls cooking night. They were to prepare a mexican meal in the crockpot, so they used the Head Chefs.

Head Chefs sent me the Icing Spreader, Measuring Spoon, Spatula, Spoon and Child's Bowl. We used the Measuring Spoon, Spatula, and Spoon for the cooking. The Icing Spreader and Child's Bowl will be shipped to the winner of this giveaway.

About Head Chefs:

"Head Chefs® are “Cool Tools” for kids and parents. Head Chefs lines of utensils are designed to make kitchen time fun for chefs of all ages. Healthy eating habits develop early, by providing your youngsters with The Head Chefs kids products, suggested cooking tips and recipes you can help to start them off on a lifelong love of cooking healthy, nutritious and fun dishes.

Professional and home chefs love Head Chefs Sil-pins, the “original” silicone no-stick rolling pins and Base Bowls, the Better Bakers Bowl.

All Head Chefs products are made of high quality silicone, metals and materials.

Products are dishwasher safe and will stand up to all the love and attention you and your children will devote to them. Head Chefs is always bringing new products into the family with basic functional tools and new additions coming all the time.

Give a Head Chef product a home in your kitchen today!"

These products will certainly encourage young children to help in the kitchen. The unique design is a definite plus for children. Mine posed the Spoon and Spatula on the side of the crockpot just for fun. These would make great gift basket items. You could put a few of these in a basket with a cake mix, or cookie mix, maybe some cookie cutters, and there you have it. If you use the child's bowl, they also have a spoon, and you could add ice cream toppings. Unfortunately, I did not bring my baskets with me to take a picture. Sorry.

The winner of this giveaway will receive the Head Chefs Icing Spreader and Child's Bowl.

Mandatory Entry:Visit the Head Chefs website and tell me what other utensils you like. You do not have to be a blogger to enter, but you must leave a valid email where you can be reached should you win. This giveaway will end 12/4 at 11:59 pm CST. Baby First TV 'I Can Sign" First Words

Hey Neighbors! Here is a really neat gift idea for someone with a young child.  Here we have I Can Sign (First Words) from Baby First  TV.  Now, I am just going to share right here that we have friends who have taught two of their children to sign at a very young age.  And it works!  Their children could sign before they could talk. The Dvd will teach your child many useful words that will be used in day to day life.  Words like: eat, water, milk, cookie, ear, feet hands, kiss, sleep, book, mother, father, and many other words.  Each word is taught in a short video clip where they will see pictures of the word/item and people signing.  There is also a little character at the bottom corner of the video signing along.  The Dvd can be done on English or Spanish.  Also included on the Dvd are printable coloring pages that you can print off by inserting the Dvd into your computer.  Inside the cover of the Dvd case is a little booklet that covers some of the words you and your child

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back.  Hey neighbors, its with a heavy heart I let you all know that my mom (Lori) unexpectedly passed away the end of June. Our family has been taking the time between now and then to be together and remember what a light mom was. I came on towards the end of last year and was planning on fully moving my interviews and review to this website. I intend to to so partially to keep mommas beautiful website going. Thank you all so much for your love and support over the years. ~Mercy
