Carmex Moisture Plus Lip Tints Review and Giveaway

Neighbors,

Long day here today. We even had a few little snow flurries. I love weather like this! I have my newest Carmex product to share with you. I really like the Carmex Sheer Peach and Sheer Pink Tints. They are still a hydrating lip balm, but they have a hint of color to them. Both contain 12149 Helmar Rd, Newark, IL 60541itamin E and Aloe, SPF 15 Sunscreen and they come with a slant tip. They smell good too! Both my daughters older daughters like them. My Carmex has a tendency to disappear from time to time. I usually know where to find it though. Personal preference, I like the Pink Tint, but both are equally nice to use. I have especially dry lips and have been carrying Carmex with me lately. It lasts, and I like the way it goes on. I personally do not use lipstick, and I like that I can use this lip balm with just a hint of color and shine. And the best part is it keeps my lips hydrated.

I love that Carmex started out as a family business and is still owned and operated by family.

Carmex:

armex® lip balm was invented in 1937 by Alfred Woelbing, literally on the family stovetop. For the next 20
years, Alfred and his wife made Carmex by hand and poured it into the familiar yellow-capped jars.

Eventually production moved out of the Woelbing home and into a rented facility in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, where it remained until the move in 1975 to its current site in Franklin, Wisconsin.

Carma Labs employs about 100 people and is still owned and operated by the family: Alfred's grandsons Erik and Paul Woelbing. The Woelbing stove is now used for cooking things the family can actually eat."

Carmex products are a great way to protect your lips. The Moisture Plus Lip Tints are just another one of their excellent products. Make sure you try some. They can be purchased at Walgreens or Walgreens.com. So, buy a couple and throw them in your purse to have when you need them. They also make a great gift basket idea. Put them in a small basket along with a favorite perfume or bath soap.

I prefer the pink. I've used Carmex since I was a teenager. We started with the little glass jars. It was really nice when they went to the tubes. Much less messy.

Thanks for the offer. I've just found you. I'm going to look around your blog.

Do drop in!

I have used the carmex original jar. I use it in the winter when outside to keep my lips for getting wind burned and chapped.

Baby First TV 'I Can Sign" First Words

Hey Neighbors! Here is a really neat gift idea for someone with a young child.  Here we have I Can Sign (First Words) from Baby First  TV.  Now, I am just going to share right here that we have friends who have taught two of their children to sign at a very young age.  And it works!  Their children could sign before they could talk. The Dvd will teach your child many useful words that will be used in day to day life.  Words like: eat, water, milk, cookie, ear, feet hands, kiss, sleep, book, mother, father, and many other words.  Each word is taught in a short video clip where they will see pictures of the word/item and people signing.  There is also a little character at the bottom corner of the video signing along.  The Dvd can be done on English or Spanish.  Also included on the Dvd are printable coloring pages that you can print off by inserting the Dvd into your computer.  Inside the cover of the Dvd case is a little booklet that covers some of the words you and your child

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back.  Hey neighbors, its with a heavy heart I let you all know that my mom (Lori) unexpectedly passed away the end of June. Our family has been taking the time between now and then to be together and remember what a light mom was. I came on towards the end of last year and was planning on fully moving my interviews and review to this website. I intend to to so partially to keep mommas beautiful website going. Thank you all so much for your love and support over the years. ~Mercy
