Animal Planet Radio Control Black Widow Spider Review and Giveaway

Hey Neighbors,

I have a boys gift basket idea to share here At the Fence. Actually a little girl might like it too! How about a Radio Controlled Black Widow Spider (22.99) from Animal Planet? It is for 6 years old and up. My 9 year old daughter was running it all over the house last night. Other than size, it is quite realistic as it crawls around on the floor. It has a furry texture that is sort of prickly feeling. This Black Widow Spider is from Animal Planet, who brings the animal kingdom to life through their toys, on screen and online. This spider comes with a radio control that allows you to turn the spider around, left or right, and to move forwards and backwards.

Just a little information on the Black Widow Spider taken from the back of the box: The female Black Widow delivers one of the deadliest bites in the insect world. Their webs act as their eyes and ears to the world because they are practically blind.

Animal Planet products are also available through Toys-R-Us, Target and Discovery Channel Stores just to name a few places you can find these. I actually have one more product from Animal Planet that I will share At the Fence, probbaly next week. So keep checking back. They have animal playsets, a remote control T-Rex, a Radio Control Snake, Wild Eyes, and puzzles, just to name a few.

Now I have a really neat idea for a gift basket with this Radio Control Black Widow Spider from Animal Planet. If you put the Black Widow in a basket along with a book on spiders, or a coloring book with spiders, then maybe add a pack of gummy bugs. You could even add a bug catcher, of course with a warning not to go looking for a Black Widow. I know many children who would love this gift basket!
