Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop Review and Giveaway

CLOSED
Hey neighbors,

Here is another really great product for you to look into. Rubbermaid sent me their new Reveal Mop. I love it. It has a spray bottle attached that you can put your own floor cleaners in or later in the post I will list some recipes they have for cleaning solutions. Just think, no more dragging out a bucket when you mop. No more messy drips as you go back and forth from the bucket.

This mop is so simple and easy to use. Just grab your mop, fill and attach the spray bottle, and get to work on your dirty floor. Use the trigger to control how much cleaning solution you need. Just a little for small clean-ups, a little more for larger ones. My mop was shipped in 2 pieces and need to be put together (very easy), but the ones you purchase either online or at your local store will be one piece. You can find the Reveal Mop at Home Depot and in August at Target or Wal-mart.

The head of the mop is made of microfibers. You can use the same head for approx. 100 uses. Here is what Rubbermaid has to say:

"Brilliantly Clean – Microfiber Makes the Difference

  • Microfibers are ultra-thin fibers (1/100 the thickness of a strand of hair!) that grab onto dirt and grime and hold on tight, leaving you an amazingly clean floor.
  • The wide, thick microfiber pad reaches deep into cracks and crevices to pick up 50% more dirt than traditional sponge mops.
  • The microfiber pad doesn't just get floors cleaner; it even helps them dry faster so you can get on with your day"

"TRY THESE SOLUTIONS!

Mix one of the following into the refillable bottle, close the cap, and click into the Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop.

Cleaning Solution 1

  • 2 Tablespoons ammonia
  • ½ cup white vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon of baby shampoo
  • Fill the rest with hot water

This solution works well on hardwood floors.

Cleaning Solution 2

  • 2Tablespoons white vinegar
  • 2-3 drops liquid soap
  • Fill the rest with hot water

This solution is perfect for glazed tiles, vinyl, soft tile, cement, brick, and laminate.

Cleaning Solution 3

  • 2 Tablespoons baking soda
  • 2-3 drops liquid soap
  • Fill the rest with hot water

This solution is great for unglazed tiles, marble, stone, and slate.

Cleaning Solution 4

  • 1 Tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Fill the rest with hot water

This solution also works well on hardwood floors.

Please follow all manufacture recommendations when choosing products to clean your floor.

To give your custom solution a clean scent, simply add a few drops of lemon juice or your favorite scented oil to the mix! Or try a combination of any of the above products to find a solution that works best for you."

Doesn't this floor look clean? It was quick and easy. The mop is light weight, and the floor dried fast. This is a product worth sharing with my neighbors.

Here are some ways you can keep up with Rubbermaid and any new products they might come out with. Their blog -Rubbermaid or perhaps you prefer Youtube- Rubbermaid or Facebook- Rubbermaid. Try one or all three!

Watched video and learnt that I can use any solution that I want...it only takes 2 tablespoons of it and you don't have to go over and over the same area numerous times to get it clean.

Definately need this product for the 60+ year old house we bought and are remodeling, lots of floors to clean!

Baby First TV 'I Can Sign" First Words

Hey Neighbors! Here is a really neat gift idea for someone with a young child.  Here we have I Can Sign (First Words) from Baby First  TV.  Now, I am just going to share right here that we have friends who have taught two of their children to sign at a very young age.  And it works!  Their children could sign before they could talk. The Dvd will teach your child many useful words that will be used in day to day life.  Words like: eat, water, milk, cookie, ear, feet hands, kiss, sleep, book, mother, father, and many other words.  Each word is taught in a short video clip where they will see pictures of the word/item and people signing.  There is also a little character at the bottom corner of the video signing along.  The Dvd can be done on English or Spanish.  Also included on the Dvd are printable coloring pages that you can print off by inserting the Dvd into your computer.  Inside the cover of the Dvd case is a little booklet that covers some of the words you and your child

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back.  Hey neighbors, its with a heavy heart I let you all know that my mom (Lori) unexpectedly passed away the end of June. Our family has been taking the time between now and then to be together and remember what a light mom was. I came on towards the end of last year and was planning on fully moving my interviews and review to this website. I intend to to so partially to keep mommas beautiful website going. Thank you all so much for your love and support over the years. ~Mercy
