3000 BC review and giveaway

Hi Neighbors,

It's been awhile since I've been At the Fence. We had a very busy weekend. Now, I am just going to take a moment to relax here with you and share a company that sent me a wonderful body wash. The company is 3000 BC. They carry a variety of body, bath, and hair care products, along with skincare. When I contacted 3000 BC they offered to send me the body wash, so imagine my surprise when they included their lotion. I had a hard time deciding whether to just do a review and keep both products, or if I should use one for a giveaway. Well, I chose to use the lotion for a giveaway, so one of my neighbors can also experience 3000 BC.

I really like the body wash. It smells great. It is gentle on the skin, and soaps up well. This is a product I enjoy sharing At the Fence.

Below is their product description
Ostraca Body Wash
"Ostraca Body Wash
Ostraca is a soothing floral and citrus blend to promote balance, sedate body, evoke a state of emotional calm, and enhance self-confidence. Using only the mildest, botanically-based surfactants, skin conditioning herbal extracts and fragrant essential oils, this high-foaming gel is gentle enough to be used on the most sensitive skin. There is no cocamide or lauramide DEA in this blend which are undesirable due to the release of carcinogenic chemical constituents when combined with other surfactants. All surfactants in this blend are derived from corn and coconut.

Key Ingredients:
Herbal Extracts (hibiscus, nettle, dandelion, plantain)
Pure Essential Oils:
clementine
tangerine
marjoram
orris
rose
ylang ylang
chamomile
owyhee
blue tansy
lavender"

About 3000 BC:

"3000BC skin care was founded in 1992 by Korin Korman as a result of her MBA thesis at the Wharton Business School. During her research she discovered that Egyptians had fully developed the use of essential botanical oils in and around the year 3000 B.C.

In 1993, 3000BC began to provide services as a testing ground for its name sake product line. The flagship spa established a cult following that enabled the relocation of the flagship to a larger facility and the opening of multiple branch locations.

In 2008, 3000BC became 3000BC WellMed Spa merging the world of wellness with the world of medicine under the Medical Supervision of Dr. Brian Buinewicz. In 2009, 3000RX was created, a clinical FDA approved product line. "

Mandatory Entry: Visit 3000 BC and come back and leave a comment regarding one of their other products you would like to try. You do not have to be a blogger to enter, but you must leave a valid email where I can reach you should you win. Please complete the mandatory entry before you enter any other way. Baby First TV 'I Can Sign" First Words

Hey Neighbors! Here is a really neat gift idea for someone with a young child.  Here we have I Can Sign (First Words) from Baby First  TV.  Now, I am just going to share right here that we have friends who have taught two of their children to sign at a very young age.  And it works!  Their children could sign before they could talk. The Dvd will teach your child many useful words that will be used in day to day life.  Words like: eat, water, milk, cookie, ear, feet hands, kiss, sleep, book, mother, father, and many other words.  Each word is taught in a short video clip where they will see pictures of the word/item and people signing.  There is also a little character at the bottom corner of the video signing along.  The Dvd can be done on English or Spanish.  Also included on the Dvd are printable coloring pages that you can print off by inserting the Dvd into your computer.  Inside the cover of the Dvd case is a little booklet that covers some of the words you and your child

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back.  Hey neighbors, its with a heavy heart I let you all know that my mom (Lori) unexpectedly passed away the end of June. Our family has been taking the time between now and then to be together and remember what a light mom was. I came on towards the end of last year and was planning on fully moving my interviews and review to this website. I intend to to so partially to keep mommas beautiful website going. Thank you all so much for your love and support over the years. ~Mercy
