Kinder-glo Review and Giveaway

CLOSED
Hi Neighbors,

Join me At the Fence so I can share something with you. One of my favorite companies contacted me regarding a new design they have out. Kinder-glo now has a Quarter Moon nightlight. I love it! It is a little larger than their previous designs, and because of it's shape is probably a little easier for young children to hold. Remember Kinder-glo nightlights never get hot! So, little ones can carry them around, or even take them to bed with them. (They could also carry them to light their way to the bathroom if needed.) Each nightlight comes with it's own base where you recharge it. You can choose to let it cycle through colors, or choose just one color (Red, Blue, Green) Leave it on all night long, or you can have it fade out after 30 minutes. You choose! Best of all they are BPA and lead free. I highly recommend these nightlights. My children use them every night!

The Quarter Moon is sort of donut shaped, except one side is thinner than the other. Which actually makes a nice handle! He has the cutest smile. Any child would enjoy taking this nightlight to bed. This is definitely a product to share At the Fence.

A little about Kinder-glo:
"Blue Moon Lites is headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Our staff has a 25+ year span of experience in the consumer electronics world and a breadth of combined experience in multiple markets and countries. We build products on the belief that the designs should first fit a need and demand of the consumer while maintaining the most current quality and standard of technological excellence achievable in today’s market.
KinderGlo is a trademark of Blue Moon Lites Incorporated and the result of a convergence of technology and the emergence of the many children we are associated with.
Blue Moon Lites has a number of OEM and staged products in and coming to the market place based on energy efficient lighting. Promotional lights, recreational, patio and children’s markets are our focus."
These nightlights are available in other shapes also. There is an owl, a T-rex, and a brontosaurus. They are $21.95 a piece and you can order them on their website, but before you try that perhaps you would like to enter this giveaway and try to win one. Kinder-glo graciously sent me some of their new Quarter Moon Nightlights and in this giveaway there will be two winners who each get one Quarter Moon Nightlight. Then in a couple of weeks, I will be hosting another Kinder-glo giveaway.

I would love to win this for my nephew. He is so afraid of the dark in his room (I think because his older siblings like scary movies so are maybe teasing him a lot)and this might just be the perfect solution to calm his little nerves. I like that it stays cool to the touch!

Baby First TV 'I Can Sign" First Words

Hey Neighbors! Here is a really neat gift idea for someone with a young child.  Here we have I Can Sign (First Words) from Baby First  TV.  Now, I am just going to share right here that we have friends who have taught two of their children to sign at a very young age.  And it works!  Their children could sign before they could talk. The Dvd will teach your child many useful words that will be used in day to day life.  Words like: eat, water, milk, cookie, ear, feet hands, kiss, sleep, book, mother, father, and many other words.  Each word is taught in a short video clip where they will see pictures of the word/item and people signing.  There is also a little character at the bottom corner of the video signing along.  The Dvd can be done on English or Spanish.  Also included on the Dvd are printable coloring pages that you can print off by inserting the Dvd into your computer.  Inside the cover of the Dvd case is a little booklet that covers some of the words you and your child

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back.  Hey neighbors, its with a heavy heart I let you all know that my mom (Lori) unexpectedly passed away the end of June. Our family has been taking the time between now and then to be together and remember what a light mom was. I came on towards the end of last year and was planning on fully moving my interviews and review to this website. I intend to to so partially to keep mommas beautiful website going. Thank you all so much for your love and support over the years. ~Mercy
