Hey Neighbors,

This is the perfect month to check out Eden Home. Eden Home carries so many different products for your home. From Bedding, Bath to Baby and the best part is they are organic, natural and toxin free. They are running a great Baby Promotion this month! Sign up for their Eden Home email newsletter and you will receive 15% off on all Organic Baby gear you purchase. Sound good? There's more! You can also register to win an organic Baby Shower with over $2,000 in prizes by starting a gift registry. To register, click this link: http://www.edenhome.com/t-eh_giftregistry.aspx

I love the set I received for review, the Natural Snack Organic Baby Gift Set. To begin with the snack set came in a beautiful brown box with a blue ribbon. The one I received is Emerald Garden Blue (simply gorgeous!) with the Klean Kanteen Sippy Cup in blue. I wish you could feel how soft this snack bag is! The snack bag is made from all natural organic materials, and the sippy cup is BPA and toxin free. Inside the snack bag is silver and it is subdivided into different compartments which can be changed due to the dividers that are moveable. There is a mesh pocket in the top for holding small items like your spoon or bib. The bag is insulated, and is water resistant and stain resistant. The Klean Kanteen sippy cup is stainless steel. This set would make an excellent gift for any mom with young children, or purchase them for your own children. You really need to stop by Eden Home and see what they have to offer.

From Eden Home:

"Eden Home - About Us

Offering organic and natural yet stylish products for your home, bath, bed and baby.
Many of the so-called "organic" and "natural" products sold today are either not pure or not beautiful. So we started Eden Home to offer healthy choices ranging from organic clothes for baby to natural bath towels, from organic cookware to all natural shampoos.
Organic foods are common place, organic cotton is en vogue. But what happens to cotton and other ingredients after they're harvested matters too. Many chemicals are introduced during the manufacturing of everyday products like clothes and soaps. Those chemicals come into contact with your skin when you dress, bathe or sleep.
Most people don't realize how clothing is processed and finished. As many as 2000 different chemicals are used in the textile industry! Those chemicals are left on clothing then transferred to you or your baby when absorbed through the skin.
The Garden of Eden was created to be lovely and beautiful, perfect and pure.
That's why we started Eden Home: to offer natural home products that are as organic and pure as can be because they are produced as naturally as can be. But we have an eye on the luxury and visual appeal of our products too. The purity is possible without losing the beauty, whether you're shopping for organic clothes for baby, natural bath towels or organic cookware.
Eden Home was founded by two working moms who know what they like. Our natural products are classic in style, luxurious in feel, and delightful to smell or caress. Even our all-natural shampoos. Our founders' taste is apparent throughout the site, appealing to busy mothers who want to make organic choices for their families without sacrificing comfort or looks.
Eden Home offers the most comprehensive selection of natural home products, and we continually expand our selection to maintain our position as the leader in natural luxury. Browse our selection of organic clothes for baby or organic cookware, or dress up your bath with natural bath towels. If it's organic and stylish, you'll find it at Eden Home."

"Why organic
”Why give organic?”…Show you care. It’s not hard to find someone who would really appreciate the gift of organic. Someone you know and care about, that perhaps has allergies or skin irritations, or maybe they’re struggling with other health issues. Maybe your gift is for someone who already follows the organic lifestyle. Or perhaps that special someone is a new baby or someone about to have a baby and you want to give him, or her, the best start possible.
No matter who you are thinking of, at Eden Home we make it easy to show appreciation for that special someone and our environment.
Not only do we include the organic story with every purchase but, when requested, we can also provide complimentary extra tissue paper, stickers and ribbon if you plan to re-wrap the item and give as a gift. (Or, if you prefer, we can provide gift wrapping with a box or gift bag and card).
We also offer a personal shopper service If you are having trouble picking out just the right gift for that "hard to buy for" person or for the "person that has everything", or you simply do not have time to shop.
Looking to set up a wedding gift registry or baby shower registry? Give our new gift registry service a try or call us today."

Baby First TV 'I Can Sign" First Words

Hey Neighbors! Here is a really neat gift idea for someone with a young child.  Here we have I Can Sign (First Words) from Baby First  TV.  Now, I am just going to share right here that we have friends who have taught two of their children to sign at a very young age.  And it works!  Their children could sign before they could talk. The Dvd will teach your child many useful words that will be used in day to day life.  Words like: eat, water, milk, cookie, ear, feet hands, kiss, sleep, book, mother, father, and many other words.  Each word is taught in a short video clip where they will see pictures of the word/item and people signing.  There is also a little character at the bottom corner of the video signing along.  The Dvd can be done on English or Spanish.  Also included on the Dvd are printable coloring pages that you can print off by inserting the Dvd into your computer.  Inside the cover of the Dvd case is a little booklet that covers some of the words you and your child

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back.  Hey neighbors, its with a heavy heart I let you all know that my mom (Lori) unexpectedly passed away the end of June. Our family has been taking the time between now and then to be together and remember what a light mom was. I came on towards the end of last year and was planning on fully moving my interviews and review to this website. I intend to to so partially to keep mommas beautiful website going. Thank you all so much for your love and support over the years. ~Mercy
