MODEST APPAREL USA REVIEW AND GIVEAWAY

CLOSED

Hey neighbors,

I have a new giveaway. It is a $25 gift certificate to Modest Apparel USA. This company/ministry is dedicated to modest apparel for ladies. They carry clothing for both girls and ladies. I was impressed by the variety they carry. Anything from skirts, dresses, and jumpers, to school uniforms, and sleepwear. They even carry maternity clothing.

The main goal of Modest Apparel USA is: "
We are a family owned home-based business. Our desire is to offer women an alternative to the promiscuous fashions that are prevalent in clothing stores today. We have spoken to many different women about shopping for clothing for themselves and their daughters. Time and time again we were told how difficult it is to find clothing that wasn't

skin tight or that didn't reveal more of their body than they wanted too. Simply put, modest clothing is hard to find. So we decided to have clothing made that we knew was modest, and it's all made in the United States of America. We have very high standards for quality and we will not sell an inferior garment. If you would like to see a certain style of dress offered here on modestapparelusa.com please e-mail us with a comment or perhaps a link to a picture. If we think it would be a style that would appeal to all our customers, we will consider adding it to our clothing line."

Modest Apparel USA is also available for wholesale orders. Go here.
Now Laurie is offering the winner of the giveaway a $25 gift certificate to be used at her site Modest Apparel USA.

This is one to share At the Fence.

Yes, I would like to enter the drawing! We viewed their website and they do have a lot of pretty, modest clothing. We especially liked the traditional top button floral jumper and the side button floral corduroy jumper.

I have been a fan of Modest Clothing USA for a while, but never bought anything, since we're usually the garage sale/clearance type of shopper. Shhhh...don't tell...but I would actually order undergarments, namely the culotte slip and skirt slips. We can't buy slips in out town, because apparently hip-hugging mushroom-top jeans don't require slips.
I am now a Twitter follower. Check.
I am glad that there is a movement toward modesty in clothing. It is very important for the Christian men out there who are struggling purity to be surrounded by women who respect them and their desire to remain pure. Modesty can become legalistic rather than be a movement of the heart, in which case it becomes a hindrance to the Gospel. Overall, however, the movement is a welcome relief!

It is often difficult for girls especially young teenagers to find modest type clothing to wear. I think it is important to have modest apparel available if you don't like to flash a lot of skin or you find it distasteful to wear revealing, tight clothing.

I believe with all my heart that the way we dress is a direct reflection of the heart.

If our heart honors God we will want our dress to Honor God.
This is a lost desire in the hearts of most Christians today sadly enough.
Thank you so much for offering these types of clothing for those that still desire to dress modest.

Howdy! I am now following your blog. I went to Modest Apparel USA's site and subscribed to them.
I posted the give-away on my blog southern-maiden.blogspot.com

If I were to win I would like the White cotton peasant top-short in women's.

Modesty is very important not only for ourselves but also for others and God. We ought tow ant to dress in a way that is pleasing to God and that is very distinct to our sex. There are many men who have had or currently have struggles and we should not want to be a stumbling block to christian or even christian men. If we dress modestly it will not be our fault if a man lusts after us it will be theirs. But the point is to cover up and wear loose clothing so they won't have any wear to look but at our face. We also, should want to look like a lady and act like one, too. The Bible speaks about modesty and what a woman is to wear and that is not man's clothing. I really enjoy dressing like a lady and enjoy the fact that people will not be confused as to what sex I am. I like being modest. I am not trying to present anything else but modesty and feminity. I take joy in God's design. Glad to be a young woman.

Baby First TV 'I Can Sign" First Words

Hey Neighbors! Here is a really neat gift idea for someone with a young child.  Here we have I Can Sign (First Words) from Baby First  TV.  Now, I am just going to share right here that we have friends who have taught two of their children to sign at a very young age.  And it works!  Their children could sign before they could talk. The Dvd will teach your child many useful words that will be used in day to day life.  Words like: eat, water, milk, cookie, ear, feet hands, kiss, sleep, book, mother, father, and many other words.  Each word is taught in a short video clip where they will see pictures of the word/item and people signing.  There is also a little character at the bottom corner of the video signing along.  The Dvd can be done on English or Spanish.  Also included on the Dvd are printable coloring pages that you can print off by inserting the Dvd into your computer.  Inside the cover of the Dvd case is a little booklet that covers some of the words you and your child

What To Do About Those Fuzzy Uninvited Guests In The Home

When we talk about pests in the home, the most common that we tend to deal with are the creepy-crawlies that find their way in. Ants, termites, and spiders, for instance. Occasionally though, you have a real chance of getting a much bigger, fuzzier unwanted guest in the home. What do you do about the fact your home is at risk of becoming a wildlife sanctuary for some truly unhealthy and even dangerous beasts? Picture by Alexas_Fotos Know the signs It doesn’t matter if you’re in a suburban home, a country cottage, or a fourth-floor apartment. Some animals can find their way just about anywhere. It’s worth knowing the signs of pest infestation so you can confirm it and act on it immediately. Spotting droppings, keeping an ear out for scratching, and looking for signs of nesting like shredded paper, scrunched leaves, and grass clippings around the home without explanation can help you start fighting back.  Hey neighbors, its with a heavy heart I let you all know that my mom (Lori) unexpectedly passed away the end of June. Our family has been taking the time between now and then to be together and remember what a light mom was. I came on towards the end of last year and was planning on fully moving my interviews and review to this website. I intend to to so partially to keep mommas beautiful website going. Thank you all so much for your love and support over the years. ~Mercy
