Lime Crime Continues Their Venus Series; Releases Venus 3


Lime Crime, a vegan and no-cruelty make up manufacturer has revealed its newest pallet. It is a part of the Venus palette series and is being called Venus 3. Originally, Lime Crime teased consumers with a clear see-through pink container in front of a pink a purple sky. They continued their promotion by opening up the container but hiding the specific colors in a shadow caused by the top lid. When fans of Lime Crime finally got to see what colors, the new palette included they were treated to a wide variety of bright shades. There are two shades of pink, a very dark purple, and a couple of darker shades with more pink undertones. Dreamy, Beam, Heavenly, Rapture, Ecstasy, Paradise, Bliss, and Beloved are the names of the shades. A lover of pink can pick up the new palette for only $38.


The product comes in a pink packaging with the same image of a woman from previous editions of the Venus line. The woman is standing in front of a purple sunset with clouds and bird behind her. Like most palettes, the top lid of the packaging opens to reveal a mirror.


The palette's catch phrase is "Grunge Gets Pretty," and it couldn't be truer. The pink shades in this palette are mixed with earthy, dark tones to create a mysterious look is appropriate for multiple occasions. The variety in the package makes the Venus 3 palette a great addition to nearly every woman's collection.


About the Venus Product Line


Even though Venus 3 is labeled the third edition to the series, it is actually the fourth. A product called Venus XL, which contained a large number of colors and sold for about 60 dollars, was actually the third product in the Venus line. The Venus XL is certainly true to its name. It contains a total of 18 colors and comes in a long flat packaging. The Venus XL contains a lot of variety too. It has half a dozen tones of pink, metallic colors, and darker, more casual colors.


The original Venus comes in a blue and gold packaging with a bright background on the front cover. This is the earthiest edition of the Venus line consisting of colors like rust red, brick brown, and burgundy. The official names of the colors in the original Venus package are Venus, Shell, Aura, Creation, Muse, Divine, Rebirth, and Icon.


Venus 2 comes in a black and gold packaging, and this time the woman on the front lid has a set of wings. The colors inside are called Boot, Mud, Jam, Fly, Pigeon, Filter, Marsh, and Mustard. This palette is full of unorthodox colors that can't be found in most other palettes. For the people who love unique, this product was designed for them.
