We visited on a Friday evening after dinner, and were each able to choose an ice cream. You can choose form premium or low fat ice cream, or frozen yogurt, soy cream, or almond ice as your base. Then you can choose a flavor and add-ins. Alison recommended the Honey Cinnamon flavor, and I decided to give it a try. It was interesting to watch them actually make it right in front of you! It's a very quick process, but believe me; you've never tasted fresh ice cream like this in an ice cream shop before! I was surprised by how much better it tasted; very rich and creamy. The honey cinnamon may sound like a different kind of flavor, but you have to try it!! I love Mexican fried ice cream, and this has a very similar taste, minus the shell obviously. Finding little patches of real cinnamon in the ice cream was so delicious. The perfect way to cool off in the evening after a long day!
C mentioned that she was a chocolate and peanut butter person, so she had-you guessed it-the chocolate peanut butter combination! This is made with dark chocolate and has ribbons of real peanut butter running through it; so delicious.
M asked for the Mint Chocolate Chip, and we thought it was neat that this is actually made with peppermint oil, not an artificial mint flavoring. She finished this bowl of ice cream very quickly, but was kind enough to let me have a small bite first!
The younger M had the Elsa's Frozen Ice Palace, which is white chocolate and cheesecake. At first glance this may not appear to be anything more than just vanilla ice cream, but one bite and you've got both flavors bursting! I thought it was a great combination, but of course anything that mixes cheesecake with white chocolate has my vote!
