Baby Shower Kickoff! Vick's Starry Night Humidifier!

Hey neighbors!

I have so been looking forward to this event.  Not only because it is an event, but we actually attended a baby shower!  We were in New Mexico and it was great!  So we are going to be spending at least one week on gift ideas for a baby shower, along with including pictures from the baby shower and articles on the games we played.  First up for review is a Vick's Starry Night Cool Moisture Humidifier! (SRP $54.99)

The humidifier is small and compact, so you won't need alot of space to set this up in. In the picture below you can see the filter that will need replaced 1-2 times a season.

This will make a very special gift!  Not only is it a humidifier, but it also shines a starry night sky on the ceiling!  My daughter thinks this is super!  The humidifier is very easy to set up and maintain.  You can add the Vick's VapoPads Original Menthol Scent or Sleepytime Lavendar and Rosemary Scent.  The Vick's VapoPads are optional.  You can adjust the Starry Night Humidifier to High for maximum moisture or on Low for sound sleeping mode.   The starry night scene projected on the ceiling is a perfect nightlight.

The adjustment dials also light up, so you can adjust them without turning on a bright light and disturbing your child.

What new mom would not LOVE one of these humidifiers.  I don't know how many nights I sat up with children (remember I had 6) who were having trouble breathing.  Above you can see the pattern on the ceiling.  It changes colors from red, green, blue, white and a purple color.  I think I listed them all!  Do you know an expectant mom who would enjoy a Vick's Starry Night Cool Moisture Humidifier?  You can find them at your local stores like:Target, Walmart, Babies R Us etc.  These are well worth the investment!

throughout the winter months to help relieve congestion and coughs for youngsters. A
cool mist humidifier helps keep air at a comfortable humidity to help relieve nasal and
chest congestion. Also, new research also suggests that homes kept at 40-60% relative
humidity can help reduce the survival of the flu virus on surfaces and in the air.

Key Features
• Quiet operation with multiple output settings
• Built-in scent pad heater works with Vicks Soothing Vapors
VapoPads
• 18-24 hours of operation on 1 gallon tank
• 3 year warranty
• Independently controlled projector
• Best used in medium-sized rooms

At the baby shower I attended the mother is expecting a little boy.  She actually designed the diaper cake and diaper train!  Aren't they adorable!  Have any of my neighbors ever designed a diaper cake?  She said over 300 diapers went into the large cake!  WOW!

The little table decorations are made out of onesies and baby washcloths.

I sure hope so!  One neighbor will receive a Vick's Starry Night Humidifier.

DD is expecting baby #2 in 7 1/2 months. Our 4 yr old princess has terrible allergies and I think something like this would help her breathe at night plus it would be fun for her to see the stars!

My kiddos could use a vicks starry night to help them sleep with the nightlight and to decongest them at the same time.

I would love to win it because we have 3 kids, and they are usually all sick at the same time, and we only own one humidifier from 2007. I am sure it won't last much longer.

My baby and my hubby develop cold and cough so fast when the air gets dry and we have been wanting one for a long time because of that. At present, we steam the rooms by boiling water every night. Hoping and wishing for a miracle to win! Thanks!
