Daddy Bag Baby Everywhere Review

Hey Neighbors,

I thought I would take a quick break out here At the Fence and share another product. Baby Everywhere is a company I just recently have heard of. They carry products for baby safety. From a Safe Baby Organizer to an Information Station to a Dad Bag each product is designed with baby safety in mind.

I received the Dad's Bag. It looks like a computer bag, but that is not what it is used for. This was created for dads. Inside you will find a changing pad, a small blanket, loads of pockets, a baby bottle in one of the outside zippered insulated pockets, a small first aid kit (sunscreen, hand sanitizer, and a card with medical emergency information), and a small booklet with baby safety tips. This is an ideal gift for any man who is soon to become a father. This would be great for dad to give mom a time alone, or perhaps jsut for dad to enjoy some time with his child.

Do you know a dad who could use something like this? The bags are $35 and you can order them rigth from the website. While there you might want to check out some of the other products they have available.

About Baby Everywhere:

"The birth of a baby is the most exciting, joyful event in a person’s life. With it comes the biggest and most challenging responsibility – the care and protection of a fragile and precious baby.

Baby-Everywhere congratulates new parents. We began with an idea and important goal: To provide parents with help in preventing and handling an emergency.

Florence Weiner, the founder of Baby-Everywhere, asked new and expectant parents what they wanted to learn about handling an emergency.

The parents challenged us to provide this life-saving information in products that they could use instantly, and to also prepare babysitters.

We asked professionals – pediatricians, ER doctors, nurses, paramedics, firefighters and police officers – what they want parents to know and how they keep their own children safe.

The design team then created beautiful, affordably-priced products that can be used anywhere the baby is – at home, in a car, with the babysitter and at grandma’s home.

The information in all Baby-Everywhere products is translated into Spanish. They are the first of their kind to be offered by Target.com and Amazon.com.

Early Head Start and Healthy Start, and other state-supported parent groups use our products as part of their safety training program.

We are honored to be recommended by the Academy of Emergency Medicine. iParentingMediaAwards.com judges voted Baby-Everywhere among the most outstanding safety products of the year."

Disclosure:I received no monetary compensation for this review. I did receive one Dad's Bag for review purposes. All quotes are taken from the Baby Everywhere website. All thoughts and opinions are mine.

My Scent Essence R and G

CLOSED
Hi Neighbors,

Glad to have so many of you out here At the Fence today. I wanted to tell you about a new company, I came into contact with. My Scent Essence carries warmers, lamps, tealights, and Scent Shakes which can be used as candle melts or wickless candles. The warmers are really beautiful and come in a variety of shapes and sizes.

The Scent Shakes give off their aroma without being too strong, yet you definitely notice it. The Sculptured Aroma Lamp I received has a dial on the cord to control the level of heat you get to melt the Scent Shakes. I received 3 different scents. 1. Sweetheart Roses 2. Passion Flower and Acai 3. Tea Party Of the three Sweetheart Roses was my favorite. Mine are shaped as dots and hearts, as you can see in the picture below. I used 7-10 of the shapes each time I used the warmer. You can add more or use less to control the fragrance. The Lamp I received is called Panda Rain. It has 3 Pandas sitting with Bamboo and the warmer dish sits on their heads. and the blue glass cup in between them is where the lightbulb is that heats the Scent Shakes. Not only is it pretty, but it is useful as well. I had mine in the dining room and we have used it several times to make the room smell great.

So, no flame, no soot, and the waxes are 100% natural, eco-friendly, and bio-degradable. They manufacture the product in small batches by hand. They believe this allows the fragrance to penetrate the wax to it's full capacity.

They also have a party plan where you earn commission selling their product, online, to family and friends, or hosting parties. They give you the ability to use their product for a fundraiser.

My Scent Essence is offering the winner of this giveaway, 1 Cubical Electric Warmer and 2-2 oz Scent Shakes.

Rascodog Ready Leash R and G

CLOSED
Hi Neighbors,

Thanks for stopping by At the Fence. I was hoping you would stop by. Another great giveaway for your dog. Rascodog Ready Leashes are non-retractable leashes that carry the pick-up bags in the handle. The bags pull out like tissue and are 100% biodegradeable. These leashes make walking your dog and picking up after him easy and convenient. You can also add a second leash to the handle so you can walk two dogs at once. The leashes come in two widths, 1 inch or 5/8. The length is adjustable, so I was able to lengthen them for my smaller dogs. And, yes, the handle really is comfortable.

I received the Fuschia Ready Leash. I adjusted it for our smaller dog, and my daughter took her for a walk. The only problem we had was some of the bags were hard to tear apart as they came out.

The leashes are available in:Blue, Red, Orange, Lime, Fuschia, and Gray.

From Rascodog:

"Nobody likes picking up dog poop.. But when walking our dogs in public spaces, picking up the poop is mandatory. As dog owners, we have the responsiblity of not only taking proper care of our dogs but also cleaning-up the environment around them. This basic need sparked a line of products that has become the foundation of Rascodog.

Rascodog is committed to providing products that promote responsible dog ownership. Our ultimate goal is to create innovative pet products that make it convenient to take proper care of your dog and your neighborhood. We design, manufacture and offer innovative, high quality and eco-friendly products that meet the demands of our customers and our customers’ best friends.

Thank you for your interest in Rascodog. We hope that you enjoy our products and welcome any feedback that you may have. Please click on the contact link above if you have any questions or comments. We’d love to hear from you!"

Dublin Dog Collar R and G

CLOSED
Hey Neighbors,

Do any of you have dogs? I have some really nice collars from Dublin Dog. They sent me a couple of collars for our dogs and then a couple to give away. The collars wash clean quickly, and according to Dublin Dog never harbor odor releasing odors.

Dublin Dog says:
"All-Style, No-Stink.

Our patent-pending collars are created from a special blend of synthetic polymers that won't absorb moisture, retain dirt, or harbor bacteria. And that's great news since, let's face it, if it's wet, muddy or stinky, your dog will find it. When he does, just rinse the collar under a bit of water and you're ready for the next adventure!

Lifetime Guarantee.

All our products come with a lifetime guarantee against defective craftsmanship. Plus, our collars are tested to hold over seven times your dog's weight. Bottom line: unless your best friend is from Krypton, these things aren't breaking."

These collars seem very well made. The buckles are nice and sturdy. The only problem I see might be the width of the collar on a small dog. There are a variety of styles available to choose from. There is a pattern and color for everyone. They also carry some seasonal designs. Along with their collars, they also have leashes, dog tags and apparel (for people).

Dublin Dog:

Life with Service Dogs

Charlotte, NC –May 20, 2010 –The Dublin Dog Foundation (DDF) has partnered with Freedom Service Dogs, Inc. (FSD) for their second annual philanthropic campaign. The DDF will be raising $20,000 for the training and care of a service dog (including medical bills, training and food) which will be donated to one lucky war vet from the FSD group.

DDF will raise the money for the service dog by raffling off a used Jeep that features a custom paint job and custom parts. DDF will travel around the US with the custom Jeep for four months prior to the Jeep giveaway selling raffle tickets. The vet who is awarded the service dog will be choosing the winning raffle ticket for the Jeep on September 11 at a ceremony (location TBD).

“We are honored that The Dublin Dog Foundation has chosen Freedom Service Dogs,” said Sharan Wilson, Executive Director of Freedom Service Dogs. “Freedom Service Dogs are essential companions to disabled service members who have physical and psychological needs that are the result of their sacrifices, and make a tremendous difference in the lives of these veterans.”

FSD rescues dogs from shelters and custom train

s each dog to assist a person with a disability. FSD's custom trained service dogs assist their partners in day-to-day activities providing their human companions with a greater degree of independence. FSD specifically focuses its efforts on donating these animals to disabled military veterans.

We were so impressed with Freedom Service Dogs full circle approach of fostering the partnership between humans and their canine counterparts,” said Jason Watson, CEO and Founder of Dublin Dog Company and Foundation. “It was a very simple decision for us to partner with them to support their efforts and the needs of the soldiers that benefit from them."

Now, I am going to try to work this out as easy as possible. I have 3 collars for giveaway, so there will be 3 winners. There is one medium (Kaleidoscope Merlot), 1 large (Camo Couture Downtown Diva) and 1 large (Kaleidoscope Spanish Moss). 3 winners will be chosen and the first has first choice and so on down the line. Should the size you desire be already taken, I will have to choose another winner.

Photacular R and G

CLOSED
Greetings Neighbors,

I have some more products to share with you today. The first is from Photacular, a company that puts your digital photo on many different items. Mugs, coasters, T-shirts, magnets, keychains, etc are all available to have your photo on them. I personally chose a necklace and had a picture of my husband and I put on it.

One of their best sellers are their Photo Dog Tags. They come one or two sided. And you can choose to have a color or camouflage edge.

The picture looks great. The pendant I received is aluminum with polished Florentine edges and an 18 inch silver plated chain. Overall it is nice. The necklace is more lightweight than I thought it would be, but the photo looks great on it!

About Photacular:

Coupon Binder R and G

CLOSED
Hey Ladies,

Here is one just for you. I received information on The Coupon Binder Organizational System. This is something that would be very handy in my family. We have 6 children and travel full-time, so organization is a must. My oldest daughter is our coupon person. She keeps track of all our coupons and hands out what is needed for each trip to the store, but this would really make her job much easier.

The System, comes with a 3 ring binder that has pockets in the inside front and back. A spiral notebook is included to make shopping lists or even quick notes of what is on sale at the stores where you normally shop. There is also a Pencil Pouch, handy for pens, pencils, or a highlighter. It is also to hold envelopes with coupons for the stores you are visiting. The 35 quick flip tabs are what make the system so convenient. They are attached to what looks like baseball card protection pages each with different headings, for the different types of product you purchase, such as;produce, cereals, beverages, etc. And since they are see thru, it makes it easy to find the coupon you are looking for. There are 9 pockets in each page. You can place one coupon in where you will be able to read the front and back. Or you can place 2 coupons in each pocket and be able to read both coupons. There is a warning not to pull on the tabs, as they will break off if pulled on too much. Just find the tab you need and turn the pages in front of it. Then there are the coupon sorting mats. Pre-marked mats you can lay out and sort your coupons by category. And you are given a re-usable grocery bag. All of this comes with instructions on how to use each item, how to find coupons, and different methods to save money while shopping. You can view the system here.

This seems to be a very thorough system of organizing your coupons for shopping. Not only does it organize your coupons, it includes some great helpful hints on how and where to use and get coupons. You can order The Coupon Binder here for $34.99 plus shipping.

Now I did not actually receive a Coupon Binder, but one of you will. I received all the information on the Coupon Binder and how it works, so I could do this review.

Flings R and G

CLOSED
Hi Again Neighbors,

So glad to catch you out here At the Fence. I have this really neat product to share. Flings, pop-up recycling and trash containers. These are really handy. They come collapsed, and you pop them up and with a snap they are full-size containers that you can use at parties, cook outs and camping, for trash or recycling. How many times have you had a party or cook out and wished you had something other than a large black trash bag or several shopping bags to place trash in? Well, here is your solution....Flings! You receive 4 of them for $15.99. You could re-use them a couple of times too if your trash is not real messy.

We received the Birthday Bin and put it out for Fathers Day, and just paper type trash. It is beginning to look a little rough so we will be disposing of it soon. I was even able to re-collapse the Fling Bin.

Some information from Flings:

"How were Flings conceived? The original inspiration came from a Bay Area inventor, Ed Austin, who recognized that there are many occasions where trash gets created away from primary trash and recycling receptacles … what we’ve come to call “surge trash” situations. Ed did some interesting product concepting to solve these issues and came to us. We subsequently worked with Ed to refine the product concepts, develop a manufacturable design, and do the necessary product, packaging and sourcing work. Parties and gatherings were one of the most challenging situations for consumers, so that’s where it started. As you can see, it’s been a real team effort.

How do Flings work? They couldn’t be easier. Flings come in a handy compressed state for easy portability. When you get to where you need to, just tear off the paper tape, pop them open, and they’re ready for use. When full, just pull up the skirt, tie with the handy drawstring and toss! In the case of the recycle bin, many consumers tell us they like to use it daily inside as their recycling collection point, then dump periodically into their main recycle bin, and re-use"

Flings has offered 1 Birthday Bin and 1 Recycling Bin, to the winner of this giveaway. Flings is a product to share with your neighbors. You can follow Flings on Facebook.

Little Pim Review

Hi Neighbors,

Here's a great product for teaching young children Foreign Languages. Little Pim is recommended for children ages 0-6years old. This is a DVD series and they have, Spanish, French, Chinese Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, English, Arabic, German and Russian available. Each of the languages have complete sets you may buy, or you can purchase them individually. They cover, 1. Eating and Drinking, 2. Wake Up Smiling (brushing teeth, dressing, etc.), 3. Playtime, 4. In my Home, 5. Happy, Sad,and Silly, and 6. I Can Count.

Little Pim also provides video downloads that you may purchase, parent guides, coloring pages to download, and some games. You can also push a small plush Little Pim. Little Pim has won 10 Consumer Awards. Little Pim has a blog, and may also be found on Twitter and Facebook.

We were given the Spanish I Can Count. The program had Little Pim, a cute Panda Bear, Bob a Bobcat , and Lola and Elephant. My daughter really enjoyed them. They counted dogs, cats, toys, food items, etc. so really they are learning other words too, not just numbers. This is a program that really would help a young child with a foreign language. This is a product worth sharing At the Fence.

History of Little Pim:

"Little Pim was created in 2006 by Julia Pimsleur Levine, a mom who grew up bilingual and was looking for fun ways to introduce her young son to the French language. When she discovered there were no high quality videos/DVDs for teaching toddlers a foreign language, she decided to create them herself— something for which she was uniquely qualified as a filmmaker, language teacher, and mother. Pimsleur Levine was inspired in part by having grown up in the language teaching business. Her father, Dr. Paul Pimsleur, created one of the most popular and acclaimed audio teaching language methods for adults.

Pimsleur Levine created a series that delights kids as much as any purely entertainment show, and treats play and learning as seamless activities. The Little Pim DVDs and products all make language learning fun and easy for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and their monolingual or bilingual parents.

Little Pim’s unique Entertainment Immersion Method leads with distinctive fun and high quality, and provides total immersion in the language. The method uses proven repetition techniques that help children retain the new vocabulary.

Little Pim is the most comprehensive series available today for introducing a foreign language to young children between the ages of zero and five. The series has won ten awards, including iParenting, Mom’s Best, Creative Child and Mr. Dad."

You can purchase Little Pim right through their website. The Deluxe Set that includes 3 of the DVDs, the plush Little Pim, the little Pim Spanish Music CD, Little Pim Word and Phrase Cards, all in a Little Pim Tote Bag. ($89.95) The individual DVDs run $17.95. Take a look around, see if there is something you like.
