A great addition to the Gift Basket Bonanza, Gourmet Gift Baskets! I received the Christmas Gift Basket Classic. This gift basket is gorgeous and my husband had a hard time waiting to open it. The items in the basket include:Almond Pecan-dy Crunch, Buttered Peanut Crunch, Brent and Sam's Gourmet Cookies (Chocolate Chip Pecan), Dipping Pretzels, Metropolitan Mix (Trail Mix), Roasted and Salted Large Cashews, Cheese Biscuits, Chocolate Cherries, Lake Champlain Dark Chocolate Bar, and Raspberry Honey Mustard Pretzel Dip. Yummy! Doesn't that put you in the mood for a snack? My husband loves the dark chocolate bar. And his next favorite was the Almond Pecan-dy Crunch. The children really enjoyed the CHocolate Cherries and the Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookies. And I have to tell you, as odd as Raspberry Honey Mustard Pretzel Dip sounds, it tastes great! Gourmet Gift Baskets has so many different Holiday Baskets available, that if this one doesn't suit your needs another one surely will! You can shop by holiday, special occasion, healthy, gourmet, or by price. I saw a couple of gift baskets with chocolate and my family loves chocolate. My husband's name is on the Dark Chocolate bar already.
Gift Basket Gourmet set a Guiness World Record for the World's Largest Cup of Coffee. It was 2,010 gallons of coffee. Here's a little bit about it from their website:
The previous record was set in 2007 at only 911.5 gallons. GourmetGiftBaskets.com broke this record early in the day at 7:45 a.m. and kept on going! Ryan Abood, CEO of GourmetGiftBaskets.com, saw the previous record and thought “now this will be an easy one to break.” Not quite “easy,” but definitely rewarding and something everyone at Blog World Expo, the world’s largest social media conference, has been talking about for days.
Upon breaking the World’s Largest Cup of Coffee, Abood and his team of 15 GourmetGiftBaskets.com employees also broke the Guinness World Record for World’s Largest Cup of Iced Coffee on October 16, implementing the same system they perfected with the hot cup of joe but with a little more tweaking. The iced coffee was required to be below 45 degrees and it took 3,500 pounds of ice to attain the record breaking temperature. Not to mention, they had to empty out 100 gallons of coffee to accommodate the ice and after taking all day to perfect, finally broke the record as the show’s doors were closing!
“We wanted to break both records because we had this massive cup and thought, we’d be crazy not to,” says Ryan Abood, CEO of GourmetGiftBasktets.com. “We had all the tools necessary and loved the challenge!” Check out our YouTube Videos documenting the iced coffee drama and the rest of our Guinness World Record experience.
