Kidz Gear Wireless Headphones Review and Giveaway

 Hello Neighbors!
This is a great product for a Fall Festival.  It's nasty outside and the children want to come in and listen to some music or perhaps play on the computer.  Great, except you need quiet for the project you are working on.  Pull out the Kidz Gear Headphones!  I am amazed at the quality of these headphones.  The ones I received are the IR Wireless Headphones so they can be used in a vehicle, but these came with the IR Transmitter for using with a cd player, computer, or dvd player in the home.  I also have to include one of my favorite features is the way the actual ear pieces fold for storage in the carry bag.  Nice and compact, and they don't break easily that way.  My daughter loves using them.  We have been on a trip and they have been able to watch some creation dvd's as we travel.  We only had 2 wireless headphone sets and 3 of the children with us.  We grabbed the Kidz Gear to bring with us and they worked great.  You do need to watch the volume on them as they can get quite loud.  Honestly for kids this is a great headphone.  No wires attached
where they might pull something off the shelf or table or get tangled up.  They can, walk sit, fidget and move around.  These headphones can be purchased through their site for $29.99  I apologize for the pictures being yellow, we were in a hotel room with little light.

Kidz Gear also carries a wired headphone for children.  Although I did not try them, if they are the same quality as the ones I received they are well worth the investment. These ones are available on the website for $16.99.

About Kidz Gear:

"Kidz Gear is about delivering a line of products and accessories with adult product features, performance and quality levels, but available at a price-point in-line with products for children.
As many parents have, I too have purchased “toy” products for my children: headphones, binoculars, flashlights — only to find they were poorly manufactured, using substandard if not even dangerous components and materials. Obviously, I was tired of purchasing toys and could not afford to give my children my “adult” versions of these products. I decided there was a need to meet in the middle with high-quality, fully functional and ergonomically designed products that are value-priced and in the sizes and styles kids will love! Thus the birth of Kidz Gear:
Grown-Up Performance, Built For Kids!
I invite you to check out all of our exciting new products and give us your feedback on any of the items or information you may find.
Thank you,
Laurie Peterson
Founder, Mom"

Kidz Gear has sent a second set of Wireless Headphones, complete with IR Transmitter and Carry Bag.

I would be using these with my nephew as I get him 3-4 days a week after school. His homework is always massive and often involves him using my laptop...so on the way to soccer practice, he could use my laptop with the headphones or when he is listening to music or watching a movie here and I am trying to conduct biz via phone, he can use the ear phones so my clients don't hear background noise. FAb review!

I would be letting any of kids use these. And the fact that they are not earbuds is what I love best. They could use them for almost anything from playing games or watching movies on the computer to schoolwork.

Since it is so close to Christmas it would be a collective gift for all my kids. And then maybe I will throw in some new computer games so that it becomes a package deal.

I love the splitter wires and the wireless headphones are great! With the IR transmitter I can set the kids up for a movie and then have some REAL quiet in the house. They would also come in handy on the many plane trips we take to see Grandma, the wires are always a hassle.

Nice I also share with you something hope this helpful for you my friends. Find a headphone that can be charged easily and is compatible with your equipment. If it comes with an optional wall mounting, that would not hurt either. The headphones should have a built-in Dolby and Digital Theater Systems decoders. Make sure there is an optional wall mounting. The easier you can transport it, the better.
