Hi Neighbors,
I thought I would take a moment and visit with you At the Fence and share another really nice company. Air-O-Swiss carries Ultrasonic Humidifiers, Air Washers, Evaporators, and Air Cleaners. I received the AOS 7146 Travel Ultrasonic Humidifier. (Click on the link and see their description!) Now, I believe I've mentioned previously that we travel, so this makes it a perfect size for us. We are presently visiting a friend and we have it hooked up in the children's room. Two of my daughters have allergies and have a tendency to have coughing fits and very dry lips over night. This is helping! My 12 year old has been keeping track of filling the bottle and we are using approx. 3 bottles of water a day. She loves that she is in charge of running the humidifier. The convenience of this humidifier is, you can use a water bottle (we used a .5L bottle) where ever you are. The humidifier is small, and comes with a cloth bag to carry it in, along with a small cleaning brush.
Here is a little about the Air-O-Swiss company:
"AIR-O-SWISS products have been available in North America since 2001. The PLASTON International Corporation is a wholly owned subsidiary of PLASTON Holding AG (Widnau, Switzerland). This relationship allows us to bring the 50 plus years of experience our company possesses in product development and innovation to the North American market.
Since 2001 the PLASTON company has quickly established the AIR-O-SWISS brand as the leader in the high performance air humidification and purification market in North America."
"Proper humidification reduces discomfort, tiredness, sickness.
Breathing dry air makes the uptake of oxygen and its subsequent transfer to the blood system more difficult. Fatigue, tiredness, headache and reduced concentration levels are symptoms of a reduced oxygen supply. "
"Proper humidification reduces chapped lips, dry, red eyes and dry, itchy skin.
As much as 60 percent of the human body is composed of water. When the air around you is dry it will draw moisture from any available source, including human cells, membranes and even your skin and lips causing drying and irritation. Adding moisture to the air eliminates the need to seek moisture from other sources."
As you can see this is just some of the benefits of having a humidifier in your home. There are many other reasons and you can look them up at the Air-O-Swiss website. Or check out their Did You Know page, it is full of interesting information! This is a product worth sharing At the Fence with my neighbors. Air-O-Swiss is offering one of their AOS 7146 Travel Humidifiers to the winner of this giveaway. Remember this is great for travel, or even setting up in a bedroom.
